A group of great missionaries. Elder Maddux, Elder Curtis
and Elder Peterson. They are the Assistants to the
President.

Elder Soto was Jordan's companion in the
MTC in Buenos Aires. He is a great missionary!

Here we in a shopping place eating chocolate covered strawberries!
We are with the Weavers, Rhys, Pam and Nick. They are great friends from St. George.
This is a typical picture. This man is carrying bread. It is called chipa. The Paraguayans love it. They make it in big circles and then in smaller ones like a donut. It does not taste anything like a donut. It is more like the consistency of a bagel but it still different than that. They put cheese it in. It is amazing to me how they carry things on their heads.

Our new missionaries that arrived this month. We had a group of
15 arrive. This picture was taken outside the airport.

Ryan, Jace and Nick standing in front of the temple.

Shopping at a few shops downtown.

Terry enjoying some "DUNKIN DONUTS" that the Weavers' brought. We don't have donuts here. As you can see we miss tearing into a dozen.
We finally stopped along the road and asked a nice guy if we could take a few pictures of him and his cart. He had it full of watermelons that he was selling. Ryan and Nick Weaver enjoying the moment.

I had to jump right in and get a picture. I have been wanting to do this everytime we pass one but I always talk myself out of it. Terry stopped the car and said today is the day. The man was so nice. He didn't seem to mind that we were so excited to take some pictures. I felt like my Great, Great Grandfather, Edmond Lovell Ellsworth, coming across the plains in his handcart.

Here we are with Rhys and Pam Weaver outside a great Mexican Restaurant. In South America you would think that there would be a lot of Mexican Restaurants. That is not the case in Paraguay. We love this place though. It does have great food. The Weavers are amazing people. We had a great time with them.

Here are a few pictures from this last week. Our good friends the Weavers came down to visit us. We took them to see the Iguazu Falls. It was an incredible experience. There was so much more water flowing over the falls than we have ever seen before. It was BEAUTIFUL. The power and the beauty was unbelievable.

We went on this boat ride that takes you up pretty close to the falls. It is an amazing and incredible experience. The pictures just don't do justice.

There are over 275 waterfalls. They just go on and on. The weather was great and so it was spectacular.

Here is a picture of the Wade family without Jordan. This was taken when the boys were here at Christmas time.

Here we are at a little diner that serves soft ice cream and pecan pie. It is the only place in Paraguay where you can get Pecan Pie!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. T., Chris and Brett flew done for Christmas. We had a blast.
We were able to talk to Jordan on the telephone on Christmas day. He is in Artigas, Uruguay and is doing great.
